Even Bella Hadid's supermodel good looks couldn't distract the internet from her painfully awkward on-camera interview this month.
Bella, 20, was interview on camera by Complex at Kith in New York City, where she talked about her favorite sneaker trends and styles.
But while the star is a spokesperson for Nike and clearly loves the sporty footwear, she appeared to have a hard time talking about them naturally — and her uncomfortable interview has caught the attention of social media users, who are calling her out over her undeniable awkwardness.

Yikes... Bella Hadid is being made fun of for an awkward interview
Shoe talk: The 20-year-old, who is a Nike spokesmodel, talked about her favorite sneaker styles and trends during a visit to streetwear store Kith in New York
She said: 'You know, I'm cool with it, and I don't mind dirty sneakers, but they better be fresh, you know?'
She said 'If homeboy's coming through with these,' pointing to uncool shoes, 'it's quiet. Yeah, no, it's quiet for him'
Punchline: But, she said, if 'homeboy' is wearing cool sneakers, then 'homeboy's gonna, like... get it'
Can't look away: Twitter users have been commenting on how uncomfortable the interview is
The interview starts off naturally enough, with Bella talking about a recent Nike campaign and sharing how excited she was to land it.
Then, though, she uses the word 'dope' — three times in the span of just 15 seconds — which several viewers found a bit forced and unnatural. Things got really cringey, though, when the word 'homeboy' found its way into her interview answers.
'You know, I'm cool with it, and I don't mind dirty sneakers, but they better be fresh, you know?' she began.
'If homeboy's coming through with these,' she says, pointing to a pair on the shelf she doesn't like, 'it's quiet. Yeah, no, it's quiet for him.
'But, like, if comes through in these,' she says, pointing out a pair of Nikes she likes, 'homeboy's gonna, like... get it.'
Forced? They made fun of her unnatural use of slang and the fact that she seemed to be trying to say the words as much as possible
Talkin' pretty: Others found it particularly funny because she's beautiful
Amused: Thousands of people have liked some tweets making fun of the star
The kicker: Some said they're haunted by her 'homebody is gonna, like... get it' line
Meme it: Several people turned the odd line into a viral meme
Quite a few Twitter users have posted the line along with pictures of ugly shoes or footwear looks
People quickly latched on to her use of the word 'homeboy' so many times in a row — and the clumsy way she paused and seemed to search for the words to finish her sentence in a 'cool' way.
One person shared a clip from the video and commented that she talked 'like a undercover cop'.
'This vid of Bella Hadid talking about sneakers is the most awkward thing,' tweeted someone else, adding two crying-from-laughter emojis. 'Ok how can someone as hot as Bella Hadid manage to be so cringe in that interview,' chimed in someone else.
Several people also speculated that one reason she sounded so awkward using the word 'homeboy' is because off-camera, she'd be using another less acceptable word in that context.
Catching on: The meme became hugely popular in a matter of a few days
More: Others simply used her line to comment on things they like in the opposite sex
Hundreds of people have cracked jokes about the sentence 'homeboy's gonna, like... get it'
Not real: Some joked that she sounded like an undercover cop who wasn't up to the task
Quiet: Bella Hadid has not commented on the reaction to the video
Out and about: It is possible she has not seen the memes as she has been busy celebrating her birthday
On fire: However, the meme has become very popular this month
Things got really rough for Bella when people began turning her words into a meme. Several shared pictures of ugly shoes like children's Crocs, cowboy boot roller skates, and socks with sandals, simply captioning them with Bella's line about homeboy 'getting it'.
Others listed other things homeboy could do to 'get it'.
'If homeboy is coming through with the basic ability to hold a conversation and answer my texts, homeboy is gonna like.......get it,' wrote one.
'If homeboy's gonna come through with chicken, it's like quiet. But if homeboy comes thru with tofu? he's gonna like... geddit,' wrote another.
Bella hasn't commented on the reaction to the video. In fact, she may have been too busy to even see it, as she has been out celebrating her birthday this week.
