Riverdale's Lili Reinhart has branded fans who sneakily took pictures of her eating lunch as 'f***ing rude.'
The 21-year-old actress was just out on her own getting lunch when she spotted two girls paying her attention from afar.
Annoyed, Lili took to Twitter, writing: 'To the two girls who are repeatedly photographing me as I'm eating my lunch…. I see you… you aren't slick…. that's f***ing rude.'
Hitting out: Riverdale star Lili Reinhart, 21, branded a pair of fans 'f***ing rude after they attempted to take pictures of her while she was eating lunch
Starring role: Lili is best known for playing Betty Cooper on the popular CW series
Snapback: After a fan said that she should just 'quit acting' if she doesn't like the attention, Lili blasted them for feeling 'entitled' to her
The tweet elicited a number of different responses, with some supporting Lili in her anger. One fan, however, told her she was overreacting.
In a post that has since been deleted, the fan wrote: 'Whats with celebs these days? If you don't want that much attention then quit acting for good. Be nice to the fans [please].'
But when Lili read the comeback, she wasn't having any of it, taking back to Twitter to further clarify her stance.
'No, no, no. This is what's wrong,' she said. 'You think you're entitled to take a photo of me while I'm alone and eating because I'm on a TV show. So I asked for it, right? Wrong.'
She added: 'I am a human being. I am not Betty Cooper. You aren't entitled to me. At all.'
It isn't the first time Lili has spoken out about fans behaving inappropriately around celebrities, having recently come to the defense of her costar Cole Sprouse after one fan accused him of being 'rude'.
Making her point: Lili wrote that she most certainly hasn't 'asked for it' simply 'because I'm on a TV show'
Tough girl: Lili explained that the girls were far from being 'slick' as they spied on her
Standing up: Lili also recently defended her costar - and rumored boyfriend - Cole Sprouse after a fan accused him of being 'rude'
The fan apparently walked up to Cole 'in a friendly way as if [she] knew him' and he allegedly responded with 'Who the f*** are you?'
The fan wrote on Twitter about the incident saying: 'I just wanna say F*** RUDE PEOPLE. Don't become a celeb if u want privacy, u get paid for having fans so respect them or be nice at least.'
Lili saw the tweet and shot back with a very different version of the story, claiming that the fan had run up and threw her arms around Cole.
'What you did was not cool and inappropriate,' she wrote. 'Cole's response to you was "do I know you?" After you rudely invaded our space and got in our faces.'
She later added: 'It's easy to make us look like the bad guys because you think there's no chance in hell we would ever call you out on it. Here you go.'
