Most of the bridesmaids and page boys at the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be their best friends' children, it was revealed today.

The wedding at Windsor Castle will have an unconventional feel after the couple looked outside of the royal family for the ten boys and girls to take part.

Just two of the youngsters involved in the wedding party are royals - Harry's niece, Princess Charlotte, three, and his nephew, four-year-old Prince George.

The three children of Meghan's best friend Jessica Mulroney - twins Brian and John, seven, and daughter Ivy, four - will also walk down the aisle on Saturday.

The bridesmaids for the service at St George's Chapel in the castle grounds include Harry's goddaughters, Zalie Warren, two, and Florence van Cutsem, three.

Also involved are 36-year-old Meghan's goddaughters, sisters Remi and Rylan Litt, aged six and seven respectively, and four-year-old Ivy Mulroney.

The other pageboys are 33-year-old Harry's godson, Jasper Dyer, aged six, and seven-year-old twin brothers Brian and John Mulroney.

Florence's sister Grace van Cutsem famously stole the show in 2011 at Prince William and Kate's wedding when she covered her ears on the Buckingham Palace balcony.

Kensington Palace announced this morning that Harry's niece and nephew would be among Meghan's young helpers at the nuptials in Windsor this weekend.

Charlotte and George are already skilled in the role, having performed the duty for the Duchess of Cambridge's sister, Pippa Matthews, last year.

Harry has paid tribute to former mentor and close friend Mark Dyer by requesting his son Jasper as a pageboy.

Meanwhile Meghan has publicly recognised one of her best friends, stylist Mrs Mulroney, by choosing her twin sons to take part in the wedding.

Mr Dyer, a redhead like the prince, was a supportive big brother figure for Harry during the 1990s and early 2000s.

It was during that period that the teenager was coming to terms with the death of his mother Diana, Princess of Wales, in Paris in 1997.

Who are the four page boys and six bridesmaids for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding?

Kensington Palace has announced that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will have six bridesmaids and four pageboys at the wedding. Here is the full list:

Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte of Cambridge (aged three)

The middle child and only daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge has made a name for herself for her royal confidence despite being just three years old.

It was Charlotte - Harry's niece - who led the way into the Lindo Wing to meet new baby brother Prince Louis, giving a regal wave as she went.

Her parents have told how the fourth in line to the throne rules the roost, saying she is 'very sweet' but also feisty.

Miss Florence van Cutsem (aged three – goddaughter of Prince Harry, daughter of Mrs Alice van Cutsem and Major Nicholas van Cutsem)

Three-year-old Florence is Prince Harry's goddaughter, and the daughter of his long-standing family friend Major Nicholas van Cutsem and Alice van Cutsem.

Major van Cutsem, a major with the Household Cavalry's Life Guards, has been a friend of Harry and William's since childhood.

Miss Remi Litt (aged six – goddaughter of Meghan Markle, daughter of Mrs Benita Litt and Mr Darren Litt)

Remi Litt is the six-year-old daughter of Meghan's close friend Benita Litt and her husband Darren Litt.

Meghan is Remi's godmother and in a since deleted Instagram post, the actress shared a picture of herself with the family - including her two 'fairy god-daughters' - showing them happily posing in front of a Christmas tree after spending the holidays together in 2016.

Benita runs her own brand agency under her name where she helps others to start businesses.

Miss Rylan Litt (aged seven – goddaughter of Meghan Markle, daughter of Mrs Benita Litt and Mr Darren Litt)

Meghan's other goddaughter is seven years old and Benita Litt's oldest child.

Miss Ivy Mulroney (aged four – daughter of Mrs Jessica Mulroney and Mr Benedict Mulroney)

Ivy is the four-year-old youngest child of Meghan's stylist and best friend Jessica Mulroney.

The youngster's name is actually Isabel Veronica but she is nicknamed Ivy.

Jessica Mulroney runs a bridal store in Toronto, where Meghan used to film Suits, and is said to have helped the bride choose her wedding gown.

She is married to Ben Mulroney - son of former Canadian prime minister Brian Mulroney.

Miss Zalie Warren (aged two – goddaughter of Prince Harry, daughter of Mrs Zoe Warren and Mr Jake Warren)

Zalie is the youngest of the bridesmaids at just two years old.

She is another of Harry's goddaughters and the daughter of one of his best friends, Jake Warren and Mr Warren's wife Zoe.

The Warren family are closely connected to the royals through horse-racing. Jake's father John Warren is the Queen's racing manager.

The father-and-son team run Highclere Stud in Newbury together.

PAGE BOYS

His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge (aged four)

Prince George, who is four, is third in line to the throne and a future king.

William and Kate's eldest child is said to be shyer than his younger sister Charlotte, and the duke has told how his son loves helicopters, flying and is obsessed with all things police-related.

Like Charlotte, George is rarely seen in public. The duke and duchess try to ensure their children are protected from media intrusion.

But the pair have appeared at key royal events such as the annual Trooping the Colour parade, and have joined William and Kate on official overseas tours.

Master Jasper Dyer (aged six – godson of Prince Harry, son of Mrs Amanda Dyer and Mr Mark Dyer MVO)

Six-year-old Jasper Dyer is also a godson of Harry's and the son of his trusted mentor Mark Dyer and Mr Dyer's wife Amanda.

Former Welsh Guards office Mr Dyer has been a key father figure to the prince since childhood.

A former equerry to the Prince of Wales, he was entrusted by Charles to keep an eye on Harry.

The pair travelled together in Harry's gap year and he inspired the prince's charity work in Lesotho, southern Africa, after arranging Harry's first ever stay in the country.

Master Brian Mulroney and Master John Mulroney (both aged seven – sons of Mrs Jessica Mulroney and Mr Benedict Mulroney)

The fraternal twin sons of Jessica and Ben Mulroney are seven years old - and older siblings to Ivy Mulroney.

In an interview with thestar.com in 2014, Mrs Mulroney described how the boys were best friends.

'Ben was at the MMVAs (iHeartRadio Much Music Video Awards) and John did something really sweet,' she said. 'He hugged Brian from behind and said, 'Brian, you make me great'. '

The article described the children, who had two nannies, as 'incredibly well-behaved'.

Mrs Mulroney, who is married to Ben Mulroney, the son of former Canadian prime minister Brian Mulroney, was seen arriving at London Heathrow Airport today.

Zalie Warren is the daughter of Jake Warren, son of the Queen's bloodstock and racing adviser John Warren, and his wife Zoe.

The palace has already revealed Meghan is not having a maid of honour because she did not want to choose just one person from her close-knit group of friends.

Kate is likely to play a supervisory role for the page boys and bridesmaids, something she did when her younger sister, Pippa, married James Matthews last year.

The duchess was spotted giving a polite warning to the youngsters in her charge, holding her finger to her lips to ensure they were quiet as they entered the church.
